Frequently asked questions
Practical answers to help you plan. Contact us with any individual requirements before booking.
Where can you pick us up?
We coordinate pickup from hotels, Nile cruises and other accommodation across Luxor's East and West Banks. Some narrow streets require a nearby meeting point. Airport pickup is an extra service.
When will I receive my pickup time?
We send the exact pickup time before your flight, usually in the evening once the operating arrangements are finalized. Pickup commonly falls around 5:00–5:30 AM, but changes with the season and flight schedule.
How long should we allow?
The flight is generally around 45–60 minutes, with roughly 2–3 hours for pickup, transfers, briefing, flight and return. Share any other tour or departure time so we can check whether the schedule is suitable.
Can children join?
Passengers must be at least 6 years old. Please tell us children's ages before booking. Everyone must be able to board the basket and remain standing during the flight; contact us about any mobility or health requirements.
What should I bring?
Wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes. A light extra layer can be useful before sunrise. Bring your camera, and provide the passport details and room number requested by our team for the flight arrangements.
Is website language the same as guide language?
This website is available in English, Spanish, French and Italian. Live commentary on the standard balloon experience is in English. Tell us your preferred guide language for private tours so we can confirm availability and any extra cost.
What happens if the operator cancels?
If the balloon operator cancels due to weather or operating approvals, you may reschedule subject to availability or receive a full refund for the cancelled flight. Refund processing depends on your booking and original payment method.
Can we go directly to a tour after the flight?
Yes, we can coordinate a separately arranged tour or transfer after landing. Tell us your full plans before booking. Takeoff and landing times can change, so a tight onward schedule needs to be checked carefully.
